Any tips on re-installing the forks on 80 550L got them up through the headlight but struggling to get them the last little bit.Used loads of wd40

What Cowboy said, but if your pinch bolts are out and you still can't get them in then something is wrong. It shouldn't be that hard. You can wedge open the part of the triple that clamps on the fork a little, but don't go over board.Originally posted by angus View Post

Yea pinch bolts out and wedged open triple trees must be alignment issue near the top I'll have another go tonight1983 GS 650 gl
