Picture of horn configuration on GS1100G

Can?t remember exactly how the horns were mounted to the frame... is it so that the bracket runs parallel to the ground with the horns at their widest point and connections facing down?

Perhaps someone can post a picture or two for me please.

    Thanks

This would appear to confirm your memory.
Can't see the connection orientation but it makes sense to point them down, harness allowing.

In the factory service manual that is posted on Basscliff's site, the picture shows them mounted to the front of the frame rails, basically pointed forward (and a little bit down).

Yeah, hard to see on my print-out. I guess I'll aim for what I assume it should be and see how it fits!

I'll post you a picture Steve

Mine are on the upper corners of the oil cooler. They look like Mickey Mouse ears.

I know it's a different model, but just saw Full Metal Jacket and wanted to work it in. And maybe you'll install a cooler someday.

What does Full Metal Jacket have to do with this thread, and what is there about that picture that would encourage him to install a cooler? Coolers are only necessary when doing 100+ mph.
If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space.
