Good chain tools cost a lot of money. You can find some as sold by the various chain manufacturers. I've got a Chinese cheepie that's okay for pushing pins out, as long as you grind off the head first. They do okay with smashing over a hollow pin rivet link too.

I bought a Pit Posse kit that worked well until one of the posts broke even with the head of the rivet ground down.
      Can't recommend it.

That one is very similar or maybe the same as the one I bought. The C section is made out of cheese, not steel. I bent the crap out of the first one I bought but they gave me a replacement.

I have a Motion pro branded one I think... regardless it's the same model as that Pit Posse. It's been alright, I usually grind the pin head down a bit too before trying to push it through or I just cut the chain links if I'm just removing an old chain.

Cam chains are usually smaller. I would think you'll be fine pushing a pin straight through that.

Edit: just noticed the OP is looking to work with cam chains. I miss that part before.

I don't know of any tools for cam chains.

Wow ! Good to know. I have a breaker and staker tool for my KTM RFS cam chain. I wonder if that would work ? Although
the KTM cam chain is a bit smaller.

Karts use a 219 chain so this should work. THere are probably better ones but how often do you expect to use it? https://www.internationalkarting.com...n-breaker-219p
