What size are the threads where the cylinder head plugs go. I'm talking about where a top end oiler goes or where the stock chrome plugs get screwed into at the end of the camshaft. I have a 1/2-20, but it's too small. the thread pitch seem right. Thanks for any help.

It's not a reg thread if it was it would be metric!!!! it is a pipe thread i think -
