I have a 83 gs1100es, just bought some progressive springs for it and was wondering how much oil should go back in.

My book shows for the ESD model,
Oil level--195mm
Oil grade--15w
Oil quantity--246ml per leg
Air pressure--7.11psi
This should help you out, and, where in Canada are you at?

Hey Keith, thanks for the info, hopfully get a chance to reinstall the forks tomorrow after work. I'm in Saskatoon, have you a chance to get much riding in yet, I was in Calgary a couple of weeks ago and there was bikes all over the place. later jjjjjjjjjjComment

Hi,
I don't like to do too much riding till they get the sand and gravel swept from the roads here in Calgary. I don't know what it's like in Saskatoon, but they dump lot's of salt caked gravel here. They do just about have it cleaned up now though, so it's ride-o-rama time!Comment
