    Lurches in Neutral

When I start up my bike in neutral it lurches a bit, also when I hold the cluck in it feels like it wants to take off. It also shifts hard on the move.

Your clutch sounds like it needs adjusting.

Mine does that when it is cold if I use 20W50 instead of 10W40 in the summer months.

        It is your clutch cable.

what you need to do, is adjust the amount of free play in the clutch lever, to 2mm or so. , using the knurled knob and locknut attached to the lever itself.

        this will solve your problems.
