    The stator the nation - pics too

    Anyone who's read any of my posts know about my quest for a stator so I'll skip that story. Last night I put in the one that I got from an anonymous benefactor So I took some pictures of the process. I think it's safe to say the old one is toast! Now to finish re-cleaning the carbs!

        WOW!, I dont think I've ever seen one that looked that toasted. :-) :-)

              Grits are illegal in Washington

              But it does look like some one left it in the fryer a bit too long... :twisted:

              The black is baked on and the wires are crunchy. Just needs Ketchup!

                    Wow, I can't imagine what my stator looks like! I'm assumign it's the 26 year old original too...but after a new R/R it still charges!
