Compression on gs650
Does anyone know what the proper compression is on an '82 gs650g? I have heard 125 as a general number, but thought I'd check with you guys. I'm checking my compression this weekend and am wondering what I should be aiming for. Thanks.Tags: None -

Compression should be 130-160 psi according to Clymer but it also says that the engine should start with compression as low as 100. -
It is just as important for them to be equal. If one is low the engine will not idle properly and be hard to tune.1981 GS650G , all the bike you need

There should be no more than 25-30 psi difference between the highest and lowest - less is better.Originally posted by duaneageIt is just as important for them to be equal. If one is low the engine will not idle properly and be hard to tune.Comment
