Thinking about dumping the factory fairing on my GK & just going with a aftermarket windshield. Anybody else done this and/or know what I'd need to acquuire as far as factory parts.

I just got through doing it to my GK, due to dropping it off a ramp last year. You will need #1) Fork headlight ears. 2)Headlight 3) turn signal, both front and rear if your ditching the saddle bags also. I also bought a tripple cover for mine. Althogether it cost me about $100 on ebay. If you would like to see some pics let me know. -
Would like to see pics if its not too much trouble :roll: . Nasty cracks in mine also from getting knocked over by a bob tail truck. No way am I giving up my bags/trunk. Thanks for input. May start looking for necessary stuff.Comment
