What exact model GS is it? If it is just a GS1000E that came with the vm26ss carbs then no. You would have to swap boots but then you would also have to have the intake ports honed out. To do it right you need a head that had CV carbs on it already. Like an 80 GS1000G had the cv34mm carbs but they would not fit on a GS1000 that came with the vm26ss carbs. The head has different size ports in it.
