O rings??????

I am cleaning the carbs off my GS650G and my dealer wants $4 per needle valve O ring. And then he doesnt even have them in stock. Is there any reason I can't just get any O ring that is the same size as the old ones and use that instead? Or are they so exactly sized that that would not work.

Yea you can, but good luck finding them. Your best bet is to find the GSresources member that sells the o-ring kit. Its only 12 or 15 bucks and you get every o-ring for all four carbs!....Now only if I could remember his name....
