    Bench sync?

Just wondering what exactly people mean by "bench syncing" carbs. I have synced mine using a carbtune but I think I should have bench synced them first because now the adjustments are all almost at their end. I think it is affecting the idle. If someone could please clue me in as to how you would bench sync them, that would be great.

A bench synch is pretty simple. All you do is use a popsicle stick or some other non metal prop (small diameter or thin) and open the butterfly enough to get the stick under it then eyeball the other three so they are close to that one. Afterwards use your carbtune to dial them in right.

Basically all you are doing to getting them close by 'eyeballing them' that way they should be relatively close when you use your carbtune.

I've done that plenty, you type up a reply, post it and find someone beat you to it that wasn't there before you started
