I need a new #1 carb for my '83 GS-1100, I found a set from an 1982 GS1100. Does anyone know if these will bolt right right up to my bike? Would it require any modifications?

You will not have to rejet, but you should check the replacement carbs to verify the correct jet sizes are installed. Previous owners could have installed anything or even nothing in the jet holders.
