82 GS1100E pressure Plate bolts

Manual reads:

Clutch spring bolt 8-9.5 lb-ft
Clutch sleeve hub nut 36-50.5 lb-ft

well today i whent to toruqe the bolts down to 9 ft lb and broke one :x do anyone know if i can get a new bolt at a hardwear store the bolts have a 7 on the head so im guessing they are grade 7 bolts but im just trying to find out if i can get a new one at a hardwear store.......
