The first thing that happened after I bought my bike was that I locked the handlebars, and could not get them unlocked. The key just would not turn. I disassembled the ignition switch and removed the key cylinder, so I could use a screwdriver to turn the switch.
I eventually bought a new ignition switch on ebay and replaced it.
Something must have broken in the lock, I tried all sorts of techniques to get it to move, but it wouldn't.
