    Fuel Additives and Fuel Filters

If I'm using Berryman's Chemtool, Chevron Fuel Injector Cleaner, Xylene, Toulene, urine or any of the other myriad of cleaners out there, should I need a fuel filter to take care of any of the gunk I'm dislodging/cleaning?

As always, thank you very much.

The crap you flush out of the carb should just burn up during combustion. Watch what you put in...you don't want to rot your O rings in the carb. Fuel Injector cleaner, mesured to match the tank size is about as harsh as I'd go.

Open the drains at the bottom of the carb bowls, put rags underneath to catch the droppings, and spray carb cleaner through the fuel line for 30 seconds at a time.

When it starts to run clean close them back up and cough it back to life.

        Cool, thanks.

As for rotting the rubber, I'm gonna use plenty of MMO to keep lubrication up and run the tank through as quickly as possible.
