    broken shock bolt !!!

hi guys, could someone tell me if the bolts that connect the shocks to the frame are studs or are they welded in place ? was removing them and pow... both snapped clean off! what a sickener. still i guess that's what you get with 24 year old bolts. thanks for any help...b.b.

Grind them off flush with the frame and have some studs welded back in place.

If you don't have a welder cut them flush and drill out the hole.

Push a long enough bolt with proper threads through and your set.

          Bobo,

Make sure you use a grade 5 or better bolt on those shock towers. A regular bolt (grade 3) will undoubtedly bend on you.
