have G and not G models same shocks?

I'm not sure if they all use the same shocks, but they are fairly inexpensive from JC Whitney. I just bought some for my '81 GS650G and IIRC they ran about $78. With S&H they totalled out to about $94.

Try going to the Progressive Suspension website and checking to see if their part numbers for replacements are the same for the various models you have an interest in. I think they list as many old models as anywhere else you'll find.

I believe that the main diference is in how the lower portion connects to the swing arm.. a round hole or a forked affair
