1980 gs1100e front master cylinder rebuild kit
Does anyone know where to find a 1980 gs1100e front master cylinder rebuild kit? I've looked everywhere online for a store that'll sell them and can't seem to find one, mine is leaking like a sieve.Tags: None -

Looks like kit # RB-1097 for $ 26.95 will be what you are looking for.

How funny, I just posted the same question for a 1980 GS1100L. The master cylinder that Tom is talking about is for a rear master cylinder.Comment

The 78 and 79 GS1000 Have the round master cylinders like ours. If you can find a kit for those models then you're in the game. I have a Clymers for 80-81 1100s and they don't even show the master cylinder I have.Comment

Sorry, I guess that is why the part number starts with an "R".Originally posted by chef1366How funny, I just posted the same question for a 1980 GS1100L. The master cylinder that Tom is talking about is for a rear master cylinder.

I had to order the factory Suzuki kit for my '82 1100E. It's an odd piston diameter that you can't get aftermarket. The stock OEM kit was $34 !!Comment
