I have a 1980 GS750 that i bought at a swap meet and i am having problems with the petcock. After ordering a new one from my local dealer i realized the petcock did not line up with my tank.After further investigation (comparing the tank w/ pictures of other '80 750s) i realize that it is not the stock tank. It is a Suzuki tank, but any idea how to identify the tank so i can replace the petcock?

Even without the pictures I will venture a guess: one is for the standard model, the other is an L tank. Both are 750s.
