    Tire Size

Ok I know this has been posted before. I did a search and found that some people who had the GS850GL use a 130/90-17 for thier rear....

    However on my bike I have a 130/90-16.....should I get a 17 or 16? I am getting the ChengShin Himax from http://www.americanmototire.com/

I looked around and alpha sport says 130/90-16 and so does Dunlop however oldbikebarn is claiming 130/90-17

    ahhh which one to get?!

You have to get the rim size that your bike has - if it has a 16 on it you have to get a 16 or it would never hold air with a 17, there would be a 1 inch gap on the bead

also, check out www.Traxmotorsports.com I got the best price there.

The GS850G has a 17" rear wheel. The "GL" version uses a 16" wheel. Buy the size that's on there now.
