gas in air box ???

a while ago someone had this problem. could anyone tell me what had caused this? i can't find the thread, and now my bike has this problem !!! thanks...b.b.

Leaking diaphram in the petcock. Pull the vacuum line of the petcock and I believe you'll find your source.

got a 'pingel' billy, no vacuum.gas doesn't flow when petcock in 'off' position, only when 'on' and bike not running. gas pours out of the drain hose that is on the bottom of the airbox. i'm thinking sticking float but want to make sure before stripping. thanks...b.b.

Sticking float or bad o-rings on the float seats.
