Can Some One With An 82 Gs750e Do Me A Favor?

i was wondering if someone with an 82 gs750e can measure the diameter of the fork legs. im trying to see if the front end will fit on my 79 gs750e.

FYI,

Just measured my 80 750E and they are 35mm.

Don't quote me on this but I think up to '82 on the E's would have been 35mm. '83 and up 750E's had 37mm forks.

yeah i think 77-82 were 35mm on e and standard models. im trying to find forks for my 79 and im desperate for any.
