    gs550 exhaust question

    Will a 81-83 gs550e MAC exhaust fit my 80 550e? I have found a great deal on one, just to want to get it and it not fit.

      You have a 8 valve engine, the later model 16 valve 550 is actually 572cc's or some such. It's not the same motor.

          i realize it is not 16v motor and that they are differnt, but will the exhaust fit...by fit I mean, is it at least close?

                      exhaust fit question

                      Just a suggestion , go online to a supplier like Mac or who ever and go into their catalogue page and look up both cycles , if the part number is the same, it will fit !!! I have been a auto parts counterman fo 27 years. Good luck ,I love this site ..
