    Carb cleaner alternate

OK. I can't find berrymans, or Gunk carb dip ANYWHERE!!!
I work in a chemical warehouse. I've got xylene, toluene, methanol, glycol. All kinds of solvents. So....

Can I use any other stuff to dip and clean my carbs in????

I'd use any of the carb dips you find at your local automobile parts house. Here in the U.S. I go to my local NAPA store. Any good cleaner will have some oleic acid in it. It gets into the imbedded stuff on the parts.

If you brush or scrub any heavy deposits of the outside of the carb's before disassembly it will prevent the contamination of the cleaner. I've reused the can I got several years ago many times. LOL

Canadian Tire MUST have a dip of some kind. I was amazed by that place when I was up there! A Wal-Mart for just cars!

I clean clocks with naptha (lighter fluid) and use it on brass, any solvent, tooth brushes, and twist ties to clean out the jets, those and some spray carb cleaner and elbow grease and compressed air should work. no rubber parts please...

any ultra-sound equipment available? that's a possibility also.
