82 GS1100 or 750?
I baught a bike a couple of months ago. Title says GS 1100. The person I bought the bike from says they changed it to a 750cc. Before I tare into the motor what should I look for? What would they have changed to make it a 750cc? The head, cases, pistons, carbs, etc. I am looking to change the motor back to a 1100cc bike. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The # on the case is R701-105055 and the neck is #JS1G073AXC2108919.Tags: None -

If they switched motors. Above the clutch case cover state the numbers on the motor and we'll tell you what motor you have.Comment

At the bas e of the cylinder block it wil lsay 749cc or a number
followed by "cc"
If you want an 1100 motor, it's a swap, not a bore/stroke of a 750.Keith
