I just bought an APE xtra plate clutch kit from the GSZONE for my recently purchased 82gs1000s Katana. When I called them up and spoke to the order person we had some discussion about which kit to get either the GS1000 or GS1100 kit. The gs1000 kit reads gs1000 2v and I believe my 821000s is a 4 valve. I hadn't done my research at the time so I told the person to cross reference it and send me the right one.
I just got the 1000 2v kit today and was looking online at part#'s and it seems the 821000s looks like it uses the gs1100e and gs1150 clutch kits. Can any of you guys confirm this or know for sure from experience which kit I need. Thanks.
