I just bought a 1983 GS550L and I have a quick question about the RPMs at highway speeds. When I am cruising at 100kmh/62MPH the bike is reving at 5000RPM, this seems a bit high to me, but I am new to the bike and am not sure what it should be running at that speed. Does anyone know that the sprocket sizes should be for the bike? If it is reving high the only reason I can come up with is the wrong size sprocekts?? Any info in greatly appreciated
