Fill exhaust hole?

I have a hold on the bottom of my exhaust muffler. It's about the size of the tip of my pinky. I think it's too big to fill will a weld job. Do you know of any other compound that I can fill it with or repair it?

they sell some stuff called quicksteel at walmart. like putty than hardens. about $2. i used it on my truck exhaust that had a tiny hole. works great.

Why not use a patch? Cut a piece of sheet metal somewhat larger than the hole. Just tack or stitch weld it in place. If it's not too close to the engine, JB Weld would work.

permatex has a line of muffler repair stuff. you can get it at autozone or advance. I have a fleet farm and get mine there. It hardens like steel and resists heat too. It is made too patch holes. Its like furnance cement actually.
But it will chip after years and years and years of riding.

Is this a rusted out hole or is it a drain hole put there by the factory? Suzuki & all manufacturers put drain holes in their exhaust to let the water drain that is created when you start the bike cold. Make sure before you do anything.
