Gear Shift Lever Question
Anyone know why for an '82 GS850L there's one part number for the gear shift lever (25600-45130) but TWO part numbers for the rubber piece (25652-16500 AND 25652-49300). My old one was p/n 33, but I'm wondering if p/n 34 will be less painful shifting on my toes as it looks somewhat wider and flatter. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks again. Larry

My GK came with the flat type. The rubber part came off one day, and I replaced the lever with a round-type one I had on one of my old GS850's. It fit perfectly and I couldn't tell the difference in shifting.Comment

I ordered a new one from Flat Out Motorcycles today, but its on back order. I'm told the round one was replaced by the flat one, so that's the one I'm getting.Comment
