    Taking off carbs GS550t

    Hey I own a GS550t and i was wondering if anyone could tell me how I would go about takeing off my carbs? I am fairly new to carbs so any help is greatly appriciated. Thank you.

    Try a search for "easy carb removal".

      Drink 4-5 beers before hand.

      Remove screws holding airbox to carbs.

      Loosen all screws that hold airbox to frame.

      Remove screws holding carb bank of engine block.

      Drink few more beers.

      Disconnect throttle cable, choke cable.

      Remove carbs to the right with alot of force.

        Yea, what brveagle said...and don't forget to push the airbox backward as far as it will go first.

          also i found with my 550 that if u take the tank and seat off u get at it better but make sure the airbox is all the way back and push it down to get the carbs out
