Down for the winter, now what ?

See this thread http://www.thegsresources.com/_forum/showthread.php?t=101222 , so I am down for the winter and have not taken the proper procedure to prep the bike for it?s winter nap. What do I need to do to make sure what little gas that is left in carbs don?t ruin the carbs. Obviously the tank is off, as well as the cam cover, so a shot of Stable on the tank is out of the question. What should I do?

To empty the carbs, simply put a small container under each carb and remove the bowl screw on the very bottom of the carbs. While you're at it, inspect/replace the gasket on said screw. Some use o-rings, some use a gasket. You can get a replacement o-ring at an automotive store (make sure to get nitrile o-rings, they're rated for gas). I think you have to get the gasket at the dealership or bikebandit.com or similar.
