how do I remove my brake light?

I've got an 82 GS750T, and she's currently being picked apart for rebuild/cleaning as I go. I can't figure out how to remove my brake light and rear blinkers, without cutting the wires. And so I can't remove my rear fender.

Is there something that I'm missing? If so, I'm sure it's really simple.
Want to remove the rear fender so it's easier to clean. Don't want to cut the wires, cause then I'll have to put them back together.

There are definitely connectors, you just have to find them. They can be in some darn strange places, too. Just trace the wires until you find the connector. Make sure to clean and/or replace the connectors while you're at it, these bikes are notorious for corroded connectors.

You'll probably trace them back to somewhere under the right sidecover or near the battery.

If you still have an airbox with the filter in it they are under there.

So far all I've found is where the wire leads into the wiring harness, the main part of it. I'll look again tomorrow, but I don't see a way without cutting something.

When it joins the wiring harness, is there a rubber "boot" covering that section? Maybe a previous owner taped over the connectors. Does the wiring look stock?

If you do decide to cut the wires, cut it at an easily accessable area and make sure you leave yourself plenty of room to install insulated bullet connectors.
