    What does this wire do??

This blue wire, connects with a bullet under the fuel tank. I had the tank off for a look at my coils & saw this was disconnected or sort of (it could have been touching intermitently). I re routed it & plugged it in securely, can anyone tell me what it does??

Seems to go up to the bars & runs to the back of the bike somewhere.

    Cheers,

    Dan

I believe it goes from your neutral switch to your instrument pod/neutral light.

Yes, it's for the neutral light. The other cluster of wires (and connector) right behind it in the picture are for the gear display (1-5 or 6), the blue one is for the neutral light.

haha that woould explain why the neutral light wasn't working then... I haven't fired it up since I re-connected in case it was split for a reason.

            Thanks guys,
