I'm a total noob to motor cycles, but I've done a fair amount of brake work.
So far this is what I've done
Rebuilt calipers with new OEM seals
New rubber brake lines went to 2 lines instead of 3
New EBC HH pads
Rebuilt Stock Master
02 Katana Master
I got this set up working as best I could then upon closer inspection I found what I though was the answer. A large pit in the bore of the Master. I have since replaced the master with one from an 02 katana. I rode it today and the brakes feel better I'm getting lots of brake dive when I grab the lever, but I can still bottom the lever to the grip. This isn't a great feeling. Grab as much brake as you can and wiat for the bike to slow down.
I'm pretty sure I've got all of the air out of the lines. I've run lots of fluid through, bled the m/c at the banjo. I'm no longer getting air out of the lines. There lever doesn't really have any pump up si I don't think it's air.
Any ideas?
Thanks
