Swing Arm length?

What is the swing arm length on any 78-81 gs750 and gs1000. I measure my 78gs550e to be 20 and 7/8 in. long. The bigger bikes look almost identical. just trying to find a differance otherwise I will be getting another 550 swingarm and lenghthening it.

The GS 1100 aluminum one is what most want for upgrade. If you have any machinist skills anything can be made to fit

On a '78 GS1000, center of slot to center of pivot hole is 530mm or 20 3/4 inches. The width of the pivot point with the caps on is 225mm or 8 13/16 inches.
