setting flaps
hi when setting up the flaps (butterflies) on a gsx550 should the flaps be fully closed when setting up the carbs or should they be set up so the are slightly open ( infront of the little drilling idle channels as in the engine side or behind as in carb side) cheers andyTags: None -
As a starting point for a manual synch, you can use a straight pin as a feeler guage for setting clearance on each carb the same. (stick the straight pin into the end of a wooden match and put a slight bend in the pin so you can more easily hold it in place to set up)

I would rather sit on a pumpkin and have it all to myself than be crowded on a velvet cushion. H.D.T. -
