I just did a compression test on my 82 GS1100GL and got 140psi on #1, 145psi on #2, 145psi on #3, and 140 psi on #4. I bought a complete gasket kit on ebay and am getting ready to replace the gaskets and was wondering how my compression stacks up to normal. If that seems low now would be the time to replace/check the rings & valves. What does everyone think?

I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address?
