Putting 750 top end back together?

I am putting my head back on the bike and was wondering how to make sure the pistons are in the proper location before installing the cams and tightening the head down. The manual I have doesn't have that info. This is on an 82 750.

you need to align the timing marks while number 1 piston is top dead centre

you will need either a manual with details or pics

First off, you need to torque the head bolts down before messing around with the cam timing.

unless the head bolts also hold the cams down
