17" GS front wheel?

Do any gs models come with a 17" front wheel? In the traditional GS Mag?

I dont think the front 17" came out until 83 which was a different spoke pattern.

What tire sizes are you currently running on the green bike?

Not sure, stock tires from 79 GS750L, 19" front, 17" rear. Ill check later.

Only 16, 18,(early gsxr) and 19. '88 600 katana has solid spoke 17 in. front wheels that are somewhat like GS wheels, '89 and newer are hollow tri-spoke style.

Cool thanks for the info. I'm finding 18" front to be the smallest in the gs mag style. They came on gs425's and 450's. I'm still looking into maybe using one for my 78550E. I'll end up with 18'' front to match the 550's 18'' back if I'm lucky. Or I'll match up 17" with another 17". Trying to get away with not changing the forks etc. to fit modern parts. But if it comes down to that I will.
