1982 gs450tx oil head cap cyl

    HI

Got a oil leak { 4-5 } drops after ride . from my front right side head cap.

see picture{4 caps 1 is leaking }. I am not sure if I need gasket job or i hope not a valve or head job.

    engine is original .

If it is leaking from behind the cap, it is probably the half-moon rubber gasket. They don't really cost that much, and, if it's original, is probably too hard to do its job properly. It calls for removal of the valve cover, so just grab your feeler gauges and check the valves while you are in there.

If you have not yet found how to remove the caps, look up from underneath, you will see two Philips-head screws holding each one on.
