    I'm confused...What do I have...?

I have a 1982 GS650L with stock coils. I would like to upgrade my coils to an after-market pair so I can easily change the plug wires when needed. I am having trouble figuring out what I need for my upgrade.

Question 1: Does my bike have points or an electronic ignition? As far as I can tell everything is stock. I have called around to try and find the right part and everyone wants to know if my bike has points or not - I guess it's pretty important when trying to pick out the right part.

Question 2: Will the Accel #140403 work with my bike?

Question 3: Will the Dyna #DC1-1 work with my bike?

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I think I'm right, the last of the breaker points ign. was 1979. Anything after that is electronic.
