I changed my head recently, one year difference and then I had to swop inlet rubbbers, carbs, airbox and choke cable!

Have you tried cross referenceing the part number at Alpha Sports?

Thanks. I had forgot that A-S has part numbers listed even if the part was discontinued. Other parts fiche eliminate the part number when it is NLA.

that is a small port head the 80-81 is a big port head, so the intake boots and carbs will not fit.

It says 77-78, Be sure it isn't a "77" if it is, I would think it must be for a 750 as there were no 1000's in "77".

NOT a pratical swap as said it has small intake ports requires the older slide type carbs. It is in effect going backwards in the preformance dept
