    Caliper Rebuild Kit?

I noticed that my rear caliper is sticking and want to rebuild it. I havn't torn it apart yet but I expect to need new seals and pistons as they are most likely original. The bike sat for quite a few years outside, so that furthers my concerns that I will need to replace the pistons. I was looking at this diagram:

and decided that I need item #1 which is listed as Piston Set for $37.71. Is this just the pistons or does it include the seals as well? I can't believe that it includes the pads and shims as well (which is what the diagram implies), as the pads are almost $40.

So what really comes in the piston set?

OOps forgot the bike, 80 GS1100E.

Piston set is what you want. Includes piston, boot and seal. That diagram is misleading, and probably dates back to when the entire caliper assembly was available for around $182, may no longer be available.

I bought my set here. http://www.flatoutmotorcycles.com/fi...ion_detail.asp I buy all my NOS parts here.

They have the same piston set, which includes boot and seal for $30.23 Shipping is usually $6 per order.

I noticed my 80 1100 rear brake started sticking a little so I bled out the old sludge (old brake fluid) and problem solved. Works like new.
Man, the fluid looked like doo doo.

        Thanks guys.

I already did the fluid change, but I suspect the pistons are rusty. For $40 might as well replace them.
