    Rear Brake Shoe Availability

    Does this make sense,
I've been waiting almost 8 weeks for rear brake shoes for my 79 GS425L
The dealer has only been able to find 1 supplier that they can get them from, and there is no ETA for them to come in. I would have thought these would be a regular commodity????

    Anyone else experience this?

Look in the Dennis Kirk Catalog...they have a good selection.

      This was easy...

This took less than 45 seconds:

      EBC Kevlar Brake Shoes

      Dennis Kirk Part #: 195011
      Manufacturer Part #: 606

      Price: $25.99

      2 available
and God said, "Let there be air compressors!"

If you have a big Auto brake supply shop you can probably get them relined

I was looking on that Dennis Kirk website, and there are several shoes listed, but a couple of them look physically different. Would they all work for my application?

My BSA has a lining that is rivetted to the shoe. NOS or aftermarket replica shoes and lining can be very expensive.
