    gsxr 1100

    I was wondering if anyone can tell me if a set 1996 gsxr 1100 forks fit on my bike.I have a 1984 gsx 750 ef.I think i might have to change the bearings ???.

    If they are a BALL bearing you will have to change the bearings. If they are a tapered bearing, like your original ones, the forks will go right on. Ray.

      Looking at the suzuki manuals both Slabside and Slingshot GSXR's had ball bearings.

      Suzuki mad.

      1981 GS1000ET
      1983 GS(X)1100ESD
      2002 GSF1200K1

          No they didn't, they had TAPERED roller bearings! What books are YOU looking at? Ray.

            Suzuki show a ball race being installed plus diagrams also show ball race, hence the post.
