    Martek ignition.... any info?

My project motor came with a martek ignition. Does anyone know anything about them? Are they reliable? Does anyone have any info on them? Should I just get rid of it and get the Dyna S?
    Anyone want to buy it?

I had a Martek for a few years many years ago. I didn't like it. I went to Dyna. I don't remember much about the Martek except I lost my advance timing setting a few times.
And on the seventh day, after resting from all that he had done,God went for a ride on his GS!
Upon seeing that it was good, he went out again on his ZX14! But just a little bit faster!

Thanks, Keith. I'll put it on ebay.

Sorry I can't remember more about it. I remember there was a set screw that held the collar/rotor to the shaft and it kept loosening. In no more than 3 years the separate "silver box" failed to fire two cylinders and I gave up on it. Maybe I just had bad luck but I didn't want to replace it with another. I'd heard the Dyna was a good unit and I bought it. Over the years I've had one Dyna S sensor/pickup go bad but we're talking many years and more than 100,000 miles.
