Spongy brakes

I had an extremely hard time ridding my E model of stubborn air from the front brake system. I ended up taking advice from a long time race car builder buddy who tipped me. Remove the caliper completely, hold it in your hand, crack the bleeder and allow fluid to drip out. Slowly in a circular motion roll the caliper in all directions watch the bleeder if you see a steady flow of drippage, that means no air. If you see a "fart" of fluid and air, bingo you expelled a stubborn air pocket! I have awesome front brakes now on my 1100, where as before they were crappy and soft.
