Here's a factory GS1000 service manual for download. For the 80+ GS1000 owners, there's a special section at the end that deals with the bigger 34 mm CV carbs etc.

which page talks about the 33 (vm?) carbs? All i saw at the end was mention of some 34cv for a g model.
