GS650 rear wheel removal

HI Guys....

I've got some disc's to replace on the back wheel, I've managed to do the front wheel disc'swithout any drama's.

Im just seeking some advice and help with the removal of the rear wheel and then placing it back.

It looks pretty simply... but... just checkin lol

Let me help you out. First, place bike on centerstand. To remove rear wheel on 650g, you will need to loosen and remove the rear shocks from their mounts (upper or lower) not both though. Loosen and remove axle nut before loosening axle pinch bolt. Now you can pull the axle bolt completely out of tire and shaft assembly--don't panic the wheel will not fall off. Watch as you remove axle bolt since the rear brake caliper and spacer will want to fall off.
You may need to remove bolt that connects rear brake caliper to rod above the swingarm; likewise, support caliper with string or rope.
On my 650g, I need to remove the lower rear fender (behind license plate) in order to get enough height to roll tire out. Now to the grand moment, grab rear wheel and carefully move it right side of swingarm. It should slide off of shaft assembly and be easy to roll out. Hope I haven't forgot something, this is off top of head.
